  1. Thank you for expressing interest in The Recipe Processor.  Use the program
  2. for a 30 day trial period.  If you find the program useful, please register
  3. with the author.  If you like it (or even if you don't), please give copies
  4. of the program to your friends to try.  All the author asks is that the
  5. program be copied with all accompanying files intact.

  7. Why should you register when you already have a working copy?  While this
  8. version (2.9.8s) of The Recipe Processor is complete and uncut, the
  9. registered version (2.9j) can hold 1000 recipes per directory.  In addition,
  10. you will receive the utility programs RPCOOKBK.EXE, and IMPUTIL.EXE.
  11. RPCOOKBK will print a cookbook of your recipes, including table of
  12. contents, recipe index, and custom cover page. IMPUTIL will import recipes
  13. exported from the Computer Chef, Micro Kitchen Companion, and Micro
  14. Cookbook recipe programs. Registering will also encourage the author to
  15. continue to improve and upgrade the program. Last, the registered version
  16. does not have the opening "annoyance screen".

  18. INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE:

  20. CREATE A DIRECTORY ON YOUR HARD DRIVE CALLED RP BY TYPING THE FOLLOWING:
  21.  1.     CD\     AND PRESS ENTER
  22.  2.     MD RP   AND PRESS ENTER
  23.  3.     CD RP   AND PRESS ENTER

  25. NEXT, COPY ALL RP FILES TO THE RP DIRECTORY BY TYPING:
  26.         COPY A:*.*
  27.  
  28. WHEN COMPLETE, SIMPLY TYPE
  29.       RP   TO START THE RECIPE PROCESSOR.  THE FILE MANUAL.DOC IS THE 
  30.            DOCUMENTATION FOR THE SHAREWARE PROGRAM.
